About us
Staying in Place - York and Surrounds Inc. is a community group and registered charity coordinating home care support services in York WA.
We work through the My Aged Care system to help older people in York and the surrounding area to keep living well in their own homes and in their own community, for as long as possible.
Our approach
Staying in Place was developed in Pingelly and has grown into a network of communities across Western Australia. Each community is run by local people, using local services and local providers.
Here in York we are connecting you with local people to care for and support you, so you can live well in your home and your community for as long as possible.
Our group partners with InCasa Country, local health services, and local providers of meals and personal care, to bring these services together in one place.

Our home town
York has been looked after by generations of local people, and we want the people who built this community to be able to stay in it. Staying in Place is about keeping that connection to home, to neighbours and to the town.
